Since 2010, the Regional Institute of Social and Nursing Education Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes of the French Red Cross has established partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa (Djibouti, Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Senegal) in line with its international strategy. Our training institute regularly sends students on internships to this part of the world.Through this project, we wanted to develop the mobility of teachers and staff thanks to mobility projects financed by foreign policy funds. Two key partnerships were identified with the National School of Medical Assistants (ENAM) in Lomé and the Higher Institute of Health Sciences (ISSS) in Djibouti. The aim was to extend collaboration to teacher mobility in order to strengthen mutual skills for the benefit of students and teams in both countries. The mobility projects focused on three areas: - health simulation; - public and community health; - digital tools in training engineering. During the activities carried out in these three fields, new areas of work emerged: the governance of health student training institutions and university education.
