Objectives

The aim of this project was to consolidate and develop existing relationships with LMU's partner countries. The project involved countries in 2 areas: Sub-Saharan Africa (Cameroon and Madagascar) and Eastern Neighbourhood (Armenia), with 7 partner institutions in total. The project was fully in line with LMU's internationalisation policy, as it aimed to continue well-established partnerships in Cameroon (Univ. of Yaoundé and Institut Universitaire de la Côte) and strengthen recent collaborations in Cameroon (Univ. of Dschang) and Madagascar (Institut National des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires, Univ. of Toliara and Univ. of Toamasina). This development strategy included Armenia (Yerevan State University), with which LMU has been developing a partnership since 2012, particularly in the field of Statistics.
