Objectives

This project aims to strengthen the already established ties with the Polytechnic University of Tirana (UPT). It primarily supports the implementation of a joint double-degree master’s program in Computer Engineering, delivered in English. The project provides funding for both staff and student mobilities, enabling UPT students to complete their second year of the master’s program at UTC, encouraging mobility experiences for participants coming from Albania. It also allows UTC students to have different exchange possibilities at UPT, offering new international opportunities for UTC students. It frames two major initiatives: firstly, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program EMSSE, awarded in 2023 and coordinated by UTC with the active participation of UPT, which is now fully operational and strongly involves both partners. Secondly, the creation of a joint international campus in Tirana, developed through exchanges between staff during mobility periods. This campus will open in September 2025 and will offer two bachelor’s programs in engineering: one in Computer Science and the other in Electronics, each with 24 places available.
