Objectives

Promoting student mobility to strengthen the practical, professional, and intercultural skills of learners in the BTSA ACSE program. Discovering a different agricultural model characterized by practices that are banned in France, such as the use of GMOs, NBTs (New Breeding Technologies), or glyphosate. The land market is liberalized. In contrast, in France, there are numerous protected geographical indications, the agroecological transition is underway, and the Common Agricultural Policy increasingly encourages the integration of environmental and climate-related issues. Despite these differences, agricultural markets and sectors are interconnected (e.g., the CETA trade agreement between the EU and Canada). Supporting inclusion and equal opportunities in line with the principles of the ECHE Charter by prioritizing students from rural revitalization zones and those benefiting from a personalized support plan. Developing sustainable cooperation with our Canadian partner, CEGEP Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Offering students the opportunity to pursue further studies at CEGEP through a dual-degree pathway between the DEC GTEA and the BTS ACSE. Enhancing students’ experiences upon their return and strengthening their employability.
