Background

The rationale behind the project was to respond to the recent educational challenges at two levels. Firstly, the global changes are more rapid than ever. The world of work changes, the demand for new skills changes rapidly. Teachers lack the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to train kids with the proper skills. On the top of that, there is a lack of trainings combining STEAM and entrepreneurship. This project was aimed at respondng to the global challenges, and support the educational system with tools allowing teachers to learn more about STEAM and entrepreneurhips and its new forms. Secondly, the project partners themselves identified the skills gaps in their schools, when it comes to the knowledge on new forms of entrepreneurship and the possibility to teach about entrepreneurship through STEAM and project-based learning. The project is a response to the global and local challenges.
