we want to render our students aware of the place they live in order to promote their region and their town in an optic that diversity is an added VALUE. The European Commission granted us funding for these 2 years and we were able to involve around thirty French and Italian students in this physical mobility programme.
The main aim of the proposed project, entitled "Unesco heritage", was to help students TO discover our respective cultures by looking at our traditions, our heritage, our gastronomy and our education systems. For these target groups, the aim was to immerse themselves in the culture of the host country, to practise the language but also to compare ways of working. We wanted to make the students aware of the local heritage around them but mainly about the Unesco Heritage that sorrounds our countries and this was achieved perfectly in 2 years. English was used as main language. Our partnership proposed exchanges for 15 pupils in 2 years giving the chance to almost 30 students per country (60 totally) to discover more about our respective cultures and lifestyle for the guys lived for a week in their partners’houses, attended their schools, enjoyed their friends’ company. The European Commission granted us funding for these 2 years and we were able to involve around thirty French and Italian students in this physical mobility programme.
