“Intercultural dialogue and democratic spaces" was a training course for youth workers and youth leaders from 9 European countries. The aim of this training was to equip youth workers and youth leaders with intercultural and communication skills in order to facilitate safe, democratic and inclusive spaces for their volunteers and target groups The project took place in Mutzig (France) between February 4 and 10, 2023. The objectives of the projects were: - to train youth workers and youth leaders to facilitate intercultural and democratic processes and activities within their organizations - to bring awareness on the meaning and the importance of intercultural dialogue as a fundamental tool to mitigate diverse group dynamics - to exchange on best practices within youth workers/youth leaders organizations - to strengthen the cooperation started within the PBA InterCOOLtures 2.0 was a project dedicated to advancing new skills and attitudes concerning different and diverse cultures, create a constructive and lasting dialogue among European youth and stimulate the discussions about European citizenship. The project took place in Mulhouse (France) between April 25 and 30, 2023. The participants were accommodated at the F1 hotel in Mulhouse.Our aims with the topic of intercultural dialogue and languages were : - to bring awareness on intercultural dialogue and how it can improve our lives and our societies; - to create a safe and inclusive space of sharing and exchanging on the topic of intercultural dialogue for all participants; - to make the topic of intercultural dialogue visible and relevant within local communities and at international level; - to tackle the origin of culture-based discrimination and the impact it brings on human rights Furthermore, our objectives were : - to create knowledge and a common understanding on the topic of intercultural dialogue and related concepts for all the participants; - to empower youth to work actively within the topic of interculturality and foreign languages; - to approach stereotypes and prejudices concerning the understanding of cultures;
