The general objective of our project is to create qualitative, accessible and participatory mobility opportunities. We want to offer safe spaces for dialogue and exchange between young people and moments of learning and sharing of good practices between professionals working with youth. The three actions implemented as part of this project contributed to achieving the following objectives: Promote non-violent, respectful and stereotype-free communication: The “Trajectories” training offered participants methods to communicate in a respectful and caring manner through the technique of writing and biography. Raise awareness of ecology and respect for the environment: The three activities were carried out with attention to ecology and minimizing environmental impact. Both exchanges focused on the theme of ecology. Promoting social inclusion and participation of young people with fewer opportunities: Trajectories made it possible to share working methods as well as inclusive and participatory approaches to groups’ facilitation. The exchanges were carried out with the aim of being as accessible as possible for young people at risk of exclusion or fragility: practical activities rather than debates or writing; activites carried out taking into account the different needs of the participants. Develop linguistic and cultural exchange and promote the diversity of languages and cultures: All mobilities have created an environment that foster the linguistic and cultural exchange. Ruralternative promoted linguistic skills through activities to learn the French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese languages. Greet & Eat had several activities on cooking and food as a means of cultural exchange. Supporting the personal development of young people: The exchanges represented for many young people a first travel experience outside the family or school environment, and they were an opportunity to find themselves outside their comfort zone and to discover their own abilities and limits. Promote intercultural dialogue and understanding The meetings allowed participants to learn to recognize their own prejudices, question identity and cultures, develop curiosity for exchange and knowledge of others, experience the process of adaptation Encourage the active participation of young people in society and support their citizenship journey In Trajectories the group explored the use of writing biography to tackle societal issues and during the two exchanges the young people experienced life in a community, the sharing of tasks, respect and responsibility for each person in the collective.
