We discussed with our friends the implementation of the project work, addressing topics such as what kind of measures can be taken against recent global health crises and what kind of studies can be conducted. Our friends from different countries shared their experiences during the pandemic and brainstormed ideas. The objectives of the project work include coming together as young individuals during periods like the pandemic and implementing previously planned preparations. For example, we will have a preparedness kit at home for dealing with epidemic diseases. Our first priority will be to protect our loved ones and close ones. The preparedness kit will include protective masks, antimicrobial hand sprays, vitamin supplements, and immune-boosting serums. Since accessing these products in emergency situations may be impossible, we will keep these items ready for immediate use. One of our primary objectives is to educate young people about what infectious diseases are and to raise awareness among them. Since many diseases are transmitted through respiratory droplets or by touching, another fundamental goal is to make young people aware of how to behave in crowded environments. Sharing information with participants about past outbreaks of diseases such as the Black Death, cholera, and swine flu, including how they originated and spread, is also part of our goals to promote awareness. Defining steps for the protection of community health from both physiological and psychological perspectives, determining the studies to be conducted, and obtaining necessary training from healthcare institutions to achieve this goal constitute another fundamental objective.
