Objectives

Through the execution of this project, our main objective has been to respond to the demand and need of our young people to proactively organize a youth exchange, with a focus on multiculturalism, digital literacy and inclusion, as well as non-formal education. Furthermore, our aim was to highlight the importance of education, with a particular focus on digital education as a powerful instrument that can effectively help combat racism, xenophobia, prejudice and stereotypes , while strengthening individual empowerment and promoting human rights and cultural diversity. By increasing awareness among young people of critical issues such as racism, xenophobia and discrimination, we have not only encouraged the compassion necessary for them to actively participate in their local communities, bring about change and impact, support and defend others when they witness injustice or human rights violations, but we have also challenged society (and its members) to reinforce their responsibility to facilitate the emotional well-being of individuals. The objectives of the project were: - Develop the digital skills of young people by enabling them to exchange ideas, views and useful information and put into practice new methods of non-formal teaching and digital education to combat racism and xenophobia . - Combat hate speech online and in the media and the representation of negative stereotypes and promote acceptance of diversity. - Equip young people with media skills and digital creations. - Promote critical and analytical thinking among young people. - Reach young people targeted by hate speech online and promote acceptance of diversity, by offering alternative scenarios and emphasizing positive role models through non-formal and digital education. - To better understand the possibilities offered by the Erasmus+ program and non-formal education, to promote the European values of tolerance, understanding and respect for human rights. To address the issue of hate speech online and promote acceptance of diversity among young people, our approach is to use non-formal and digital education platforms to highlight positive role models and propose alternative scenarios. In order to better understand the possibilities offered by the Erasmus+ program and non-formal education, and to defend the European values of tolerance, understanding and human rights. Through this and its commitments, we aimed to contribute to one of the priorities established by the European Commission and the Erasmus+ program for young people, namely "Inclusion and diversity", and to provide equitable opportunities for growth educational, professional and personal based on informal and formal education. This was achieved through the following strategies: 1) engaging young people who are primarily from ethnic minorities, descendants of immigrants or who face geographic, social, economic and cultural barriers; 2) promote cooperation, quality, inclusion and equality; 3) encourage mobility in non-formal and informal learning; and 4) foster excellence, creativity and innovation at the organizational and policy level in the education and training sector. At the same time, our goal with this initiative was to recognize and increase the efforts of all individuals who participate in efforts and initiatives that strive to combat radicalization, xenophobia, racism and discrimination, and to build a society based on multicultural integration, the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity.
