Starting from a common observation, crystallised by the increase in acts of a racist, xenophobic or anti-religious nature, the rise of populism, and the community response of many minorities, the association felt it was necessary to create a project that would offer a positive and open framework for reflection to enable new generations to build the Europe of tomorrow. generations to build the Europe of tomorrow, with greater solidarity and strength in its differences. Through popular education, the association hopes to offer a new approach to enable participants, local residents and decision-makers to grasp and promote cultural openness. In addition, based on the discovery of video and the meeting with volunteers from the Vidéobus association, the association wanted to take action on media education. The idea was to give free rein to the group's creativity and ask them to create a video on a theme of their choice. Collective reflection workshops based on non-formal education helped to enrich the discussion and exchanges around the project's issues. The objectives were 1/ Raise participants' awareness of multiculturalism issues by encouraging them to meet and accept others and their differences, with a view to mutual respect and tolerance. tolerance. 2/ Include young people in the participatory process by encouraging active learning and using tools from non-formal education. 3/ To provide a space for freedom and exchange for young people from different socio-cultural backgrounds and nationalities. 4/ To raise awareness in the local community (residents and political decision-makers) of the issues of tolerance and acceptance of cultural and/or religious differences. 5/ To educate participants in the use of media tools and journalistic work. 6/ Disseminate the results of the exchange and promote the actions of the Erasmus+ programme.
