The Objectives that we wanted to achieve by implementing the project were: - to continue the work around gender equality started by Intercultura with the Rue Elles project - to allow young people to discover the partners and in particular the young people involved in each organization with an interest in the theme of gender equality. - to appropriate the vocabulary linked to gender equality in each language spoken by partner countries plus English. - exchange good practices between each organization on gender equality. - discover and take ownership of the new Erasmus + program in order to create new projects and in particular youth exchanges on the theme of gender equality All of its objectives were achieved and made it possible to create a booklet listing the different objectives and their results.
We applied for this project because the young people of the Intercultura association wanted to continue the adventure of the Rue Elles project, and in particular to write a project around issues linked to the theme of gender equality. Some of the young people from Intercultura have had several experiences abroad via the Erasmus+ program and the European Solidarity Corps, they wanted to continue their commitment to the association and get involved at the European level, around the theme of gender equality. The needs we responded to were the promotion of intercultural dialogue, throughout the project, we communicated in the 3 languages of the partner countries and in English. We also promoted human rights education in an approach of popular education and international solidarity due to the theme of the project, gender equality. Through Divers'Ielles, we have also promoted socio-educational transformation since we have worked on good practices to promote gender equality Divers'Ielles generates a feeling of belonging, by creating a link between organizations, youth workers, and the construction of future projects. Finally, we develop active citizenship through exchanges between 3 countries to strengthen European citizenship.
