Objectives

By defining priority areas, we created a tree of problems and goals. With this, we reached the general goal of our project: improvement of work in post-pandemic conditions. In order to contribute to the achievement of our general goal, we have defined five specific goals. 1. Achieving an advanced level of digital competences in order to work systematically in the new conditions of the pandemic 2. To ensure a safe digital environment through education in the field of cyberbullying 3. Educating in the field of media literacy and critical thinking in order to suppress misinformation, respect copyright and create a safe digital environment 4. To learn how to provide valid psychosocial support to students and teachers during hybrid teaching 5. Connecting with different institutions in education, educational policy makers and the local, city and European community

Background

New post-pandemic conditions and the resulting consequences require new knowledge and skills. Although teachers have adopted the basics of ICT, new areas for improvement have opened up. After conducting a SWOT analysis in our school, we determined the key needs and the direction we want to go. We want to educate ourselves in the direction of increasing digital competences, providing psycho-emotional support to students and teachers affected by the pandemic, improving media literacy, learning new methods for encouraging critical thinking, and learning how to respond to the increasing incidence of cyberbullying. We will try to establish cooperation with parents, the local community and civil associations with the aim of further cooperation. We want to create a community of empowered and digitally aware teachers who will be able to act in the direction of digital transformation and prepare students to be responsible and aware citizens of the 21st century.
