With the project, we wanted to open up new opportunities for cooperation with foreign institutions (joint scientific works, projects, etc.). Given that the Karlovac University of Applied Sciences is an institution that conducts professional studies, in project planning we focused on the mobility of students for the purpose of professional practice, because in previous projects students recognized this possibility as an opportunity to gain knowledge and valuable business experience. Experiences so far have shown that students of our University are more interested in professional practice than in a study stay. We have also foreseen staff mobility for the purpose of professional development (various workshops, trainings, job shadowing, etc.), through which examples of good practices could be transferred to jobs at the University. Given that we wanted to implement internationalization at home, we also anticipated the incoming mobility of staff from foreign companies in order to enable students to acquire new knowledge, transfer practical experience and enable them to connect with the business sector, through which some of them could also achieve mobility. In the project, we also planned the mobility of teachers for the purpose of teaching as well as the mobility of students for the purpose of studying. We wanted to strengthen the internationalization of our University, attract incoming students and staff, and strengthen the competencies of both students and staff.
