Objectives

By implementing the 2022-KA131 project, VEVU continues to enhance its alignment with the objectives of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) while further strengthening the international dimension of the education it offers in the region. Through staff and student mobility, VEVU works on adopting and implementing European educational standards that promote quality, inclusiveness, and international cooperation. Staff mobility enables the institution to monitor global trends, establish international partnerships, and develop key competencies that are transferred to students, all with the aim of improving educational processes and operating in accordance with EHEA standards. Through inbound mobility, VEVU provides "internationalization at home," creating an intercultural environment essential for the development of competencies among all students, both domestic and international. Outbound mobility focuses on enriching students' knowledge and skills in line with EHEA goals, preparing them for competitiveness in the global job market after graduation. These efforts are aligned with the institution's strategic goals in the field of internationalization, as defined in VEVU’s Development Strategy for the period 2021-2027, and support the achievement of the Erasmus Charter objectives by 2027. The focus is on enhancing the institution’s competitiveness by adopting European educational policies and standards, thereby improving the quality of education and creating an internationally recognized higher education environment.
