The project was structured around specific goals that related to the needs of participants and partners. In relation to the participants, the specific goals of the project were to develop knowledge and skills related to sustainability, entrepreneurship, active citizenship and STEM; foster a sense of initiative, creativity and self-efficacy, empowering participants to achieve their personal and professional goals; improve cross-cultural understanding, empathy and the ability to cooperate with different groups towards common goals. In relation to the partners involved in the implementation, the specific goals of the project were aimed at strengthening the partnership through joint planning and execution of the project, exchange of best practices and learning from mutual experiences; strengthening the capacity of partner organizations to offer high-quality youth programs that are aligned with the needs of their communities and the strategic goals of the Erasmus+ program, and to create a network of organizations dedicated to encouraging youth mobility, active citizenship and the green economy. The project aimed to empower young people from different backgrounds to actively engage in social issues, understand their role in shaping the future and take responsibility for their actions. Through the activity "Festival of active citizenship" and "Green defenders", young people were involved in researching different aspects of active citizenship and understanding social challenges, fostering a sense of European identity and solidarity (specific goal of Accreditation: To encourage young people to mobility and active participation in society). Recognizing the high rates of youth unemployment across Europe and the need for innovative solutions in the green economy, the project is also designed to equip young people with entrepreneurial skills. Activities such as the youth exchange "Green Lab" and the mobility of people working with young people "Where innovation meets tradition" and "Start Green" were key in inspiring participants to consider entrepreneurship as a sustainable career and develop the skills needed to launch their own green startups (specific objective Accreditations: Develop entrepreneurial initiative and encourage (self)employment of young people). One of the main goals of the project was to instill deep respect for the environment and promote sustainable living practices among young people. Through practical experiences in making natural cosmetics, engaging in the practice of waste reduction and recycling, and researching STEM applications in ecology and agriculture, participants were encouraged to adopt and advocate sustainable habits and to recognize their potential impact on the planet (specific goal of Accreditation: Develop cultural concerns on the environment and sustainable development). Through this project, we tried to show the power of active citizenship as a catalyst for positive changes. By presenting successful examples of youth engagement and the tangible results of their projects, we strive to inspire more young people to become active participants in their communities. This contributes to our broader strategic goal of creating a more informed, engaged and proactive society. Supporting young entrepreneurs, especially in sustainable ventures, directly contributes to our strategic goal of promoting economic growth and environmental protection. With this project, we wanted to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs who are not driven only by profit, but also by the impact they can have on the planet and society. The project also enabled us to advance the goal of promoting ecology and sustainable development by educating young people about the importance of sustainability, equipping them with the skills to implement sustainable practices and encouraging them to become ambassadors for environmental stewardship. In doing so, we contribute to a wider societal shift towards sustainability, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change, preserve biodiversity and ensure a healthy planet for future generations.
