The project's goal was to develop, in cooperation with youth workers, new tools and methods that they will use in their work, focusing on different thematic areas such as networking, inclusion, environmental sustainability, civic activism, and mental resilience. The project enabled experts to learn new tools and methods in various areas, including networking, working with young immigrants and people with special needs, environmental sustainability, fostering civic activism, and developing mental resilience among young people. Examples of tools learned during the project include cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices to increase psychological resilience, universal design for learning (UDL) and specific communication strategies for the inclusion of people with disabilities, digital networking platforms such as LinkedIn, public advocacy techniques through tools such as Canva for creating promotional materials, eco-audit methods for evaluating the sustainability of events, and simulations and role-playing exercises to promote intercultural sensitivity and empathy towards young immigrants. These tools helped the participants approach their professional tasks more efficiently and better understand and meet the needs of the young people they work with. In the context of the European Union, including Croatia, where systematic education for working with young people has yet to be fully established, it is very important to share and continuously work on new methods and tools in informal education. Special emphasis is placed on access for all young people, especially those from marginalized groups, in order to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in society and their community. Given that each project activity generates a certain amount of waste, it is important to teach youth workers how to reduce waste and promote sustainable practices. The goals of the project are aimed at training people who work with young people and educating young people in key areas such as connection, ecological sustainability, social inclusion, active participation, democratic processes and decision-making, and the development and application of new methods and tools. The result is five manuals, each for one of the mobilities of youth workers, which are freely available on the website and shared via social networks to reach more organizations. With this approach, we directly strengthen people who work with young people and inform young people, giving them access to important knowledge and tools necessary for their work. During the training, people who work with young people acquire knowledge and tools that are directly applicable to working with young people. In this way, they provide access to important information and skills in their work with young people. Our trainings are designed to empower people who work with young people to effectively use and transfer specific knowledge and skills to young people. Participants, through in-depth sessions that include the use of digital tools such as Kahoot! for interactive learning and Canva for visual presentation of ideas, developed the ability to apply this knowledge in their professional environment. In addition, we have implemented role-play exercises and group discussions that encourage the practical application of learned methods in daily work, enabling experts to become active promoters of social change and inspirers of young people in their communities. We also provide continuous access to online resources and support networks, enabling professionals to maintain a high standard of work and encouraging young people to actively participate in social life.
