Sustainable development is the development of society based on environmental, social and economic sustainability with the aim of meeting the needs of the current generation, without jeopardizing the opportunities of future generations. The Global Development Goals are universal and must be applicable in all countries and communities, by all people. This is precisely why, through the training activity, we first of all wanted to improve the competences of people who work with young people in the field of sustainable development through information about them and through practical tasks. Throughout the days, the participants had the opportunity to reflect on individual Sustainable Development Goals from the perspective of working with young people and from the perspective of their local communities. We wanted to give an opportunity to people who work with young people to think about the needs of sustainable development from the perspective of young people and to train them to act as responsible, encouraged and aware professionals according to the needs of young people. By implementing the youth exchange, we first of all wanted to ensure another mobility of young people for the purpose of learning, which will contribute to the development and acquisition of their knowledge, skills and competences necessary for easier inclusion in the labor market, but also better social integration and acceptance of cultural differences. Since the subject of volunteerism is still underrepresented among young people, i.e. they do not see volunteering as an opportunity to develop exactly the necessary knowledge and skills that they can use for both personal and professional development, our wish was through this exchange of young people connect these things. By encouraging volunteerism among young people, we give them the opportunity for learning, development, and mobility, especially when it comes to involvement in international volunteering programs, so we wanted to promote the European Solidarity Forces program in this way. Through the exchange itself, we wanted to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills in the field of communication, planning, presentation, organization and leadership, as well as digital skills, which are important for their easier and faster integration in the labor market, through practical-experiential workshops. through working in an international environment and representing different cultures aimed at contributing to their faster social integration and acceptance of cultural diversity. Certainly, by including group leaders in direct work with young people, i.e. the development and implementation of experiential-practical workshops, our goal was to encourage their development and acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competences in working with young people, which ultimately through the application of the same in their organizations should influence the improvement of the quality of work in everyday work with young people.
