Implementation of this project through one youth exchange and four mobility activities for youth workers (two training sessions and two job shadowing experiences) strengthened the competencies of young people in the areas of ecology, social awareness, and youth work. All this was aimed at encouraging greater youth participation and promoting youth work as a means to foster greater youth engagement in society. The goals of this project were: 1. Encouraging Youth Participation - Provide young people with quality international experiences. - Increase their participation in the community. - Ensure young people have opportunities to express their opinions and participate in discussions with their peers. - Promote inclusive participatory activities to empower young people in democratic processes. - Supporting Marginalized Youth 2. Implement international activities focused on youth at risk of marginalization (youth facing economic, social, geographical, and health barriers). - Address structural barriers such as lack of information, trust, confidence, resources, and discrimination. - Increase mutual understanding among different cultures to build stable and peaceful societies. - Develop policies that address the specific needs of marginalized youth. - Strengthening Youth Work 3. Support youth work to encourage the voice and active participation of young people in democratic society. - Create spaces where young people can explore, articulate, and develop their interests and ideas. - Enable activities for youth workers to exchange tools, practices, and experiment with new methodologies. - Strengthen the capacities of organizations to support youth in their communities. - Raising Awareness about the Importance of Ecology 4. Respond to the high demand from young people to engage in ecological actions. - Inform the public about the importance of nature conservation. - Increase the number of ecology-related activities and greater societal involvement in ecological activities. The implementation of the activities of this project achieved the above general and specific goals envisioned through the implementation of projects within the accreditation 2020-1-HR01-KA150-YOU-094833. Through the youth exchange "The New Green Me," participants designed campaigns to encourage the broader public to join ecological actions, received information about all important international agreements in the field of ecology and climate change, and exchanged experiences about ecological practices in their home countries. Through the two trainings "SWIFT: Solidarity Writing and Implementation Fundamentals Training" and "Write Here, Right Now! - Crafting E+ Project Proposals," participants worked on preparing project proposals in the area of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs. While the first of the two training sessions focused on preparing project proposals for solidarity projects, during the "Write Here, Write Now" training, participants designed projects within the Erasmus+ program. During both training sessions, participants became more familiar with European Union programs and developed their project ideas.
