Based on its many years of experience working in the field of human rights in the regional context, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights has gained insight into the influence that exchanges have on building attitudes and empowering young people across the region. Empowering young people in the field of human rights, combating discrimination and respecting diversity will contribute to changing their attitudes and reducing discrimination based on ethnic and/or national affiliation. Encouraging inter-national dialogue will contribute to the process of reconciliation and cooperation among young people which will result in the strengthening of the common European identity in the long run.
