Objectives

We, SDG Croatia, together with our partners, have decided to launch the RESTART project based on our need analysis of youth from participating countries in order to help and support them in dealing with the current economic challenges that came alongside recent coronavirus pandemic. We have set the RESTART project objectives based on our researches and need analyses from participating countries as following; RESTART project objectives has supporting the achievement of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 strategies to engage, connect and empower young people. It's priority aims promoting sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship, also social inclusion and intercultural dialogue. The partnership in RESTART project was based on the collaboration of big and experienced organisations and also new and small organisations in order to increase capacity and reinforce the network. Coronavirus impact was the common challenge of youth workers in our participating organisations since COVID-19 outbreak has negatively affected ongoing or planned activities under the Erasmus+ programme as well as regular local activities. We realised youth unemployment is our common need and hot-topic in participating organisations agenda for now and upcoming years. Our objectives were development of key competences, enabling alternative entrepreneurial spaces and critical thinking among youth that is becoming more prominent every day and increasing. There was a common need in our partnership to develop key competences of young people and promote it's tools among disadvantaged youth towards corona impact, and improving all those segments among youth were objectives of the project. Moreover our objectives were: • to develop basic soft skills and competences needed in 21st century among our participants • to improve critical thinking towards digital world and enable entrepreneurship through digital channels • to encourage participants to go through a process of development of entrepreneurship projects and reflect on it's different steps • to promote civic society, engagement and active citizenship among all participants. • to gain understanding on how to be entrepreneur and how to make it relevant for the needs of NEET young people towards crises and current pandemic impact. • to gain knowledge and awareness regarding EU opportunities.
