Implementation of this project was influenced by the previous project that Highschool Glina has implemented which was about mental health. Students of the school have agreed that good follow up of previous project would be to implement a project about tolerance and rights of minorities. The project was implemented because young people thought that the issue of tolerance, especially towards marginalized social groups is very important today and that influencing society towards understanding and acceptance of those who are “different” can only have positive impact on the society. Objectives of this project were: 1. To improve the understanding of the concept of human rights among young people 2. To improve abilities of partner organisations to implement non-formal education activities Needs the project have addressed: - less prejudices and stereotypes among young people - more tolerant, accepting and inclusive youth - more socially inclusive school environment - more ERASMUS+ projects in the field of youth for schools - more projects on combating social exclusion, discrimination, bullying and violence - promoting human rights for high-school youth - more developed awareness of human rights among young people
