The project sought to address an essential need in modern youth organizations: developing and cultivating effective and engaging leadership. Amid the significant challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic, the youth organizations have grappled with canceled projects, difficulties transitioning to a digital environment, and the struggle to motivate employees, volunteers, and beneficiaries from a distance. Recognizing this, our project's primary goal was to enhance leadership abilities and foster a thriving leadership culture within youth organizations, which is crucial for their long-term impact on society. The Joyful Leadership concept, developed through our earlier strategic partnership, formed the cornerstone of our project. Within the Joyful Leadership framework, our mission is to foster wise, effective, efficient, people-oriented, and positive leaders capable of driving their organizations forward, even during challenging times, and improving the overall quality of youth work. Our objectives included enhancing youth workers' capacity and professional skills to enable them to be better leaders. This was facilitated by delivering a range of activities using non-formal education methods, ensuring that learning outcomes were immediately applicable to their work. Additionally, we aimed to promote the Joyful Leadership concept and training cycle, highlighting its benefits for youth workers. Moreover, we recognized the necessity to respond to the changing needs of participating organizations and the feedback gathered from previous projects. We aimed to provide more networking opportunities and allowed participants to share their resources and best practices. As a whole, with this project, we strived to inspire and support effective leadership within youth organizations, equipping them with the tools and methodologies needed to navigate a fast-changing, increasingly digital world. Our primary aim was to cultivate a more robust leadership culture, ultimately leading to better outcomes for the communities these organizations serve.
