The University of Osijek and the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega have long-standing experience in participating in Erasmus+ programs, with a tradition of more than a decade. The University is committed to promoting the program, increasing the number of student mobility, and strengthening international cooperation through inter-institutional agreements and individual mobility. The main objectives of the project included: modernization and harmonization of educational programs in accordance with European standards, improvement of the quality of education and teaching processes, building interregional and cross-border cooperation in the field of education, strengthening educational capacities in social and biotechnical areas, improving student employability, strengthening interaction between economy and science, cohesion of different education systems, improving the use of the European reference model for the recognition, validation, and transparency of skills and qualifications, developing new educational, research, and scientific networks, creating international, multicultural, and interdisciplinary experiences valuable for all mobility participants, and promoting awareness of green and digital transition.
