Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek is dedicated to continuous delivery of teaching at tertiary level and organises high-quality academic and scientific activities for the prosperity of education, science, economy, culture and all other aspects of modern society. Within this project, UNIOS partnered with 19 universities of similar profile and similar strategic objectives to exchange students and staff and to work together on promotion of European values in higher education, science and social community. The project assured great international visibility of UNIOS and its partner universities and provided an extensive platform for building of future activities both in Europe and globally. By implementing this project, UNIOS managed to create diverse academic environment at home that welcomed students and teachers from geographically far-away countries. The project also supported intensive development of international activities at partner universities. Participation in the Erasmus+ programme and activities realised in this project were aligned with strategic activities of UNIOS, as well as of all involved partner universities, and contributed greatly to achievement of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
