Objectives

The 2022-KA171 project aimed to enhance the internationalization of higher education through mobility between higher education institutions (HEIs) from Croatia, an EU member state, and four non-EU countries from (Western Balkans) and (Eastern Neighborhood) regions. The key goals included increasing the exchange of competencies, knowledge, and experiences among students and staff, improving curricula, and deepening inter-institutional cooperation. The project sought to ensure continuity in developing participants' professional and language skills while fostering intercultural competence, aligning with the Policy Statement of the beneficiary institution and the strategic goals of the participating institutions in the area of internationalization. Through mobility, the project aimed to advance innovative educational models to address local and global challenges and increase student employability. It also focused on aligning educational standards with European norms and strengthening the European identity among participants. In doing so, the project was expected to contribute to improving the quality of higher education and strengthening regional cooperation within the EHEA, in line with the strategies of all 15 involved HEIs.
