We want the topics of sustainable development to be more represented in the school curriculum in order to train students for active participation in environmental protection at the local and national level. It is necessary to encourage discussion and learning about environmental protection, to influence the change of attitudes and daily habits, and to encourage green action in society. The activities proposed in this project seek to help students understand how climate change affects the Earth. Students are encouraged to act to make the world a better place. During the project, students raise awareness and spread knowledge about sustainable development.
We want to make a turn from the traditional transfer of knowledge towards innovative, new teaching methods: research and project teaching, team work and purposeful use of ICT. With this project we want to empower teachers in teaching about sustainable development. In order to achieve this, continuous training and sharing of good teaching practice is necessary. Teachers who go on mobility share their knowledge with other teachers in the school so the whole school benefits, especially our students. We want to connect with schools in Europe and enable our students to make international contacts with their peers and strengthen self-confidence, improve communication and presentation skills. We want to increase students' interest in climate change and increase their motivation to participate in activities related to environmental protection.
