Objectives

International studies suggest that one in six children has differences in sensory processing that may be significant enough to affect some aspects of daily life functions. Due to the existing trend, we expect to build an increasingly large community, and for this, we will need colleagues who will have a broad methodology for the relevant target group. We see it as necessary to develop our employees and equip them with methodological knowledge, which can be well built on what has been acquired so far. We wanted to channel the knowledge acquired in the international environment into the daily work of our foundation, which we did. The main goal of the courses was to learn new methodologies, and 2 courses were about improving English language skills.

Background

The organization is the Kék Erdő Alápítvány, a non-governmental organization. The goal of the Blue Forest Foundation is to shape a society that embraces neurodiversity. Kék Erdő was created to support children and adults with sensory processing disorders. Its goal is to make it easier for children and adults to fit into the community in which they want to find friends and companions. In the project, the competence development of the employees working at the foundation took place. Our goal is to be able to do our support work better and more efficiently. We consider it an important background to build international relations, from which we can then profit. To get involved in new international activities and participate in new attitudes.
