Background

Courses that provide pedagogical knowledge on the environment, sustainable development and the circular economy will definitely benefit our school. One of the main profiles of our school is the biology and chemistry section, where ecological and environmental education plays a major role. The foreign language lessons also include this important subject. The development of teachers' digital competences was also a designated objective. Colleagues teaching in IB classes should receive CLIL training to learn about other perspectives of teaching in a foreign language. Participation in courses on democracy and EU principles would help teachers to educate our children to become responsible citizens. Learning project-based learning is a useful skill to achieve any of the above mentioned goals (sustainability, digital literacy, democracy). Critical thinking is a key competence for the 21st century, so education in this area is an integral part of the delivery of the above-mentioned knowledge
