In our application, we set out to achieve several goals. One of our objectives was internationalization. 6 foreign languages are currently taught in our school - English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian. There is a need to establish professional relationships abroad, on which we can build and develop. Our goal was to build relationships and gain experience on the international scene. Our goals also included drawing students' attention to the climate disaster and raising awareness of the importance of a sustainable lifestyle. Through the exchange of experiences, we focused on preventive steps through which they learn about the concept of environmentally conscious behavior. We have set as a goal the experience of the importance of environmental protection and that instead of climate-anxious young people, they become active environmentalists. In the Spanish language area, our goal was to expand cultural knowledge and use the learned foreign language in an authentic environment. The goals included raising awareness about culture and the responsibility inherent in spreading cultural values. The colleagues' 21st century competencies, methodological development, and expansion of their new knowledge also help our goals.
The BGSZC Buda High School and Vocational High School is a high school that wants to constantly renew itself to meet the needs of the times. In our trainings, every young person who wants to continue their education can find the direction that suits them. We also offer bilingual, language preparation, natural science and media classes. Since the interests of the students and the teachers are so broad, there is a need for professional development. Based on the need for development, each teacher selected the most suitable tender training, which can boost the quality education of our school to the greatest extent. In parallel, the methodological and professional development of teachers and the development of students in a foreign language environment and the support of our school's specialization and program offer are the focal points. There was a need for our students to gain experience abroad in addition to domestic competitions. Based on the interests of the student groups and the area to be developed, the two topics were selected, namely the Spanish cultural and environmental area, in which both colleagues and students could deepen their existing knowledge. Our school wants to open to build international relationships to develop.
