The main goals of our project were the following: broadening the pedagogical horizons, to help the students' experience-oriented education. As a first step, we wanted to revive the possibilities of the Erasmus+ program to our school, to apply again for Erasmus+ projects and to involve colleagues from several fields who are opened to the innovative educational approach and to gaining experience and building relationships through international relations. By participating in the courses, we wanted to gain a lot of experience in organization and implementation, and to get to know more host organizations. We would like to establish good relations with as many colleagues from other nations as we could, and develop further collaborations.
Regarding the location of our institution, it is located in downtown Budapest, in the 9th district. Colleagues, students and parents have long expressed a demand to find an environment for alternative education that breaks our teachers and students out of the traditional environment surrounded by four walls, surrounded almost exclusively by concrete and bricks. The background of the project is our coordinator's experience in individual financing on a previous Erasmus+ course, where she saw a positive opportunity in the Erasmus+ program that she had not encountered before. During the further training in Greece in the fall of 2021, she met foreign colleagues who are the coordinators of their school, and they helped her take the first steps.
