The project aims to develop foreign language skills, encourage independent work and familiarise students with foreign countries, their cultures and working customs, in addition to providing practice-oriented training. We want the project to encourage our students to learn languages, to be entrepreneurial, to dare to travel abroad, to see the world and to gain a lot of experience. It is also a great opportunity for our colleagues who are accompanying teachers to learn about schools, placements and education systems in other countries. Moreover they will have the opportunity to incorporate their experiences into their work here. Our school is further strengthening and building its international links with a new mobility programme.
Our school offers both vocational school and technical training, where practical vocational education is a priority for students. By doing a placement abroad, they can gain additional experience in a different country, and learn about the work ethic and culture there. To provide all this experience, our school has been committed to delivering mobility programmes for 13 years. We want to offer students of both types of education the opportunity to participate in work placements abroad. We organise several mobility trips a year to different destinations, which also significantly supports the school's international networking. Our teachers are also open to opportunities to broaden their horizons and develop their linguistic and professional competences.
