Objectives

Our most important long-term goal was for our students, after completing their studies, to successfully find a place in the world of work, to acquire modern professional knowledge and to see the everyday life of a large European company, to be able to practice their already acquired knowledge in a sharp, foreign-language work environment. This mobility grant was a tool for this: within the project, the students had the opportunity to develop their foreign language skills, employee skills and professional knowledge, while also gaining insight into Italian culture and gaining a high degree of independence. They set an example for their contemporaries and brought good news not only for our school, but also for the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program. Our institution was enriched with new application experience, international partners and international companies that will later employ our students (two of our main students were also offered job opportunities). We want to make our institution and our training offers attractive to our future students. To provide our teaching colleagues and all our employees with a new boost in their work and professional development

Background

The main profile of our school is secondary vocational training, but it is also experienced in the field of adult education. Most of the students participating in the latter are young people between the ages of 14 and 21, who come from the region, small towns and villages, often live in disorganized financial conditions, and belong to a lower socio-cultural circle. In 1912, the teaching of mechanical engineering technology began in our school, which we have been developing both methodologically and technically ever since. We primarily conduct technical school training, mechanical engineering and specialized machine and vehicle manufacturing, with a smaller number of people (1 class per year) vocational school training. Our school's material and personal conditions are the guarantee that we provide employers with specialists who meet the requirements of IPAR 4.0. We plan our training primarily in a dual format (our training partner is e.g. Bosch), but in the absence of external practical training places, we ourselves are also able to conduct practical training that meets the requirements of the age.
