Objectives

By implementing the project, KJU aimed to foster collaboration in higher education by promoting the mobility of students and staff in order to improve our study programmes and educational services, to develop participants’ soft and hard skills (such as creativity, digital competencies, language skills etc.), and to provide a multicultural and inclusive environment in our campuses. The primary objectives of KJU in carrying out the project were as follows: 1. Excellence in Student Mobility: to actively enhance the creation of engaging, relevant, and personalized learning and work experiences that reflect students' everyday realities and their future prospects; to ensure that all students, regardless of their socio-economic background or their disabilities, have a chance to participate in the project; to open up the world to our students by providing access to international experiences at our partner universities and in our own campuses. 2. Excellence in Staff Mobility: to ensure faculty and staff participation in international mobility as an element of KJU’s Professional Lifecycle Model; to provide faculty and staff members with opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues, to improve their professional skills (teaching, research, administration, communication, etc.) by learning from best practices. 3. Internationalization of KJU’s Study Programmes and Academic Environment: to maintain a pivotal role in developing and upgrading curricula, courses, and academic portfolios through innovative blended learning methods; to provide field for discussion and the exchange of ideas; to incorporate the principles of responsible citizenship, environmental consciousness and intercultural awareness in our academic offer. 4. Connecting Education, Research, and Business: to integrate international mobility within KJU’s cooperative education model, increasing interaction between students, academia, and external stakeholders. 5. Excellence in Academic Services: to integrate international perspectives into all academic services for students, faculty and staff, particularly focusing on the enhancement of the mentoring system and advisory services.
