Corvinus University of Budapest's objective is to enhance its international competitiveness, visibility, and recognition, striving to become a bilingual university that attracts top students globally. To achieve these aims, Corvinus has concentrated on key strategic actions, many of which are closely associated with participating in the Erasmus+ Programme. This motivated the implementation of the project. Corvinus views this initiative as distinctly post-Covid, focusing on boosting both outgoing and incoming student and faculty/staff mobility. The university wanted to host a significant number of exchange students to maintain an international atmosphere. Additionally, Corvinus seeks to internationalize its faculty and staff by encouraging travel abroad and inviting visiting professors and administrative staff from other countries. To foster international collaboration, Corvinus aimed to highlight the university through the international staff week—a format that provides an excellent opportunity for engaging current and future partner institutions, showcasing the university, and discussing emerging topics such as AI and Sustainability. Moreover, partnerships needed reassessment and realignment with the university's new goals and strategy. Corvinus decided to reinforce its cooperation with distinguished international partners, utilizing the project as an ideal platform to achieve this objective.
