By actively participating in the Erasmus+ programme, Obuda University (OU) aims to contribute to the realisation of the objectives set out in the Institutional Development Plan. Our goal is to strengthen the international character of the institution by increasing the mobility of students and teachers, by strengthening the international character of the educational environment and by professionalising the organizational units involved in internationalisation. The project contributes to improving OU’s quality of education and its international integration. The project aims to improve international relations, increase international recognition, systematically improve the quality of education by strengthening international activities, increase the number of participants in mobility for all target groups, strengthen the international dimension of research areas and cooperation, and consciously exploit international funding opportunities in line with strategic objectives. Supporting mobility is a key part of our international strategy, so we aim to increase mobility numbers, promote the added value of mobility and involve students in internationalisation processes. After the Covid-19 pandemic, our aim was to promote mobility and reach the previous mobility numbers. We had to rebuild the confidence of students, to get them interested in opportunities abroad again and to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the programmes. In this context, and in line with the priorities of the programme phase, we aimed to involve as many participants with fewer opportunities as possible and to promote green travel among outbound travellers. BIPs provide a good opportunity also for students who want to avoid longer-term mobility, so we prioritized these opportunities and tried to achieve the highest possible student participation. The "F" curricula introduced in autumn 2023 already include a mobility window, so one of the objectives of the project was to develop the background for this together with subject coordinators and international coordinators to ensure the introduction of the mobility window. Due to the increasing number of outgoing and incoming participants and for the higher-level management of mobility projects, IT developments became necessary. Our goal was to create a new, database-based, searchable interface for displaying the offered English-language courses, as well as to create an interface for managing mobilities. To implement the "internationalisation at home" objective, we aimed to invite as many foreign teachers as possible and to organise international teaching weeks, so that Hungarian students also have the opportunity to take and complete courses in English, to experience new teaching methods and new approaches. For the past 10 years, Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management has organised an International Week every semester, welcoming teachers with scholarships from Erasmus and CEEPUS projects. Our aim is to extend this good practice to other faculties. Academic networks lead to joint research projects and curriculum development, the ultimate beneficiaries of which are the students.
