Objectives

With the project we wanted to continue pursuing the goals and convictions we presented in our accreditation application. We wanted to create opportunities for youth participation in our region, inviting a high number of young people and youth workers to develop their personal and professional competencies, and focusing on organising activities that inspire participants to reproduce or transform them in their own local contexts. After carefully monitoring and evaluating the two mobilities we realised, a youth exchange and a training course, we concluded that we succeeded in achieving these core objectives. Our youth exchange was titled “Cool youth for a warm planet” and its main aim was to bring together passionate young individuals from diverse backgrounds under a common goal: to learn, share, and empower each other as activists for the environment. The specific objectives were as follows: 1.To foster environmentally conscious attitudes of young people, who not only understand the urgent need to protect our planet but also actively engage in meaningful activism. 2.To equip participants with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. 3.To encourage participants to establish lasting connections with like-minded peers, creating a supportive network of environmentally conscious youth. Meanwhile, the training course took a turn in our usual topics, and added another one of our expertise to the accreditation topic palette, namely entrepreneurship. We were excited to introduce new skills , knowledge and attitudes to the participants based on the main aim of achieving a positive shift in the attitude of young people, discovering and building up their motivation for entrepreneurship. We followed the objectives stated below: 1.To equip youth workers with strategies to analyse and overcome contemporary challenges in entrepreneurship education for young learners. 2. To develop crucial competencies through targeted and pilot sessions for youth workers to experience, review and practise entrepreneurial education methodologies and foster effective communication and adaptive problem-solving skills 3. To cultivate a supportive atmosphere for networking and relationship-building among youth workers and stimulate international bonds that would create transnational youth participation opportunities.
