For all partner organizations, the project constitutes an opportunity to improve their work at the level of the EU and increase the quality of the non-formal educational methods used in their activities. In the last period, when we have many frequent attacks on terrorists or just mass killings/murders in the world are taking place, society no longer feels safe. More and more people become suspicious, they often do not try to understand different from themselves. We need more understanding and knowledge of other people and other cultures. There is limited interaction with different religions ethnic and national minorities for young people. We are from a town where it is rare to meet foreigners. From our experience, we can say that young people and a big part of society still have old stereotypes about foreigners and have a fear of interaction with them. The development of intercultural dialogue could help to solve these problems. As intercultural dialogue seeks to establish linkages and common ground between different cultures, communities, and people, promoting understanding and interaction. We believe that we need to find a way to communicate with each other. This can be achieved with the help of arts (https://publications.europa.eu/en/publication-detail/-/publication/4943e7fc-316e-11e7-9412-01aa75ed71a1/language-en/format-PDF/source-search ,seen 2018-03-08). In this publication is mentioned the fact that arts and cultural projects, in particular, can create a level playing field to allow persons of different cultural backgrounds to interact, learn and experience on a par with each other. The importance of art is also mentioned in the book “Art and Intercultural Dialogue” (e-book: https://www.sensepublishers.com/media/2716-art-and-intercultural-dialogue.pdf ,seen 2018-03-08), in which highlighted that artistic expression is often used as a tool to better understand and to communicate with each other. Furthermore, art initiates and fosters diversity and so it can be a universal tool to initiate intercultural dialogue while celebrating cultural diversity. In addition, there are many pieces of research that show that music can also play an important role in the creation of intercultural dialogue (http://www.culturaldiplomacy.org/acd/content/articles/2011loam/participant-papers/Can_music_play_a_role_in_intercultural_dialogue.pdf , seen 2018-03-08). A society that feels freer, less distorted by stereotypes and fears can accept new members and understand them easier. By becoming better acquainted with another person of different religion, race or nationality, a person acquires a broader cultural education and broadens his world of perception, which leads to a more liberal approach to different than himself and better communication skills between different individuals. Music and arts not only can help to create an intercultural dialogue but also increase social inclusion. As the partner organization often work with people with fewer opportunities or young people that have peers with fewer opportunities, we believe that this project can increase their social inclusion. We will involve 20 participants facing fewer opportunities: geographical, economic, social, cultural obstacles and educational difficulties. Aim: To develop intercultural dialogue through music and art as communication tools for 40 young people supported by 8 group leaders and 1 facilitator at the same time increase the social inclusion of 20 participants with fewer opportunities, by organizing a youth exchange between 10-19.03.2023 in Mezobereny, Hungary. Objectives: 1) Raise awareness about intercultural problems in 4 different countries and change attitudes towards people of different religions, ethnic or nationalities without fear of communicating or co-operating for 40 participants until the end of the project. 2) Discover music and art as means of intercultural communication for 40 young participants and social inclusion for 20 participants with fewer opportunities until the end of the project.
