Objectives

Our Achieved Goals with Our Project Developed and developing countries are expressing their environmental concerns for the future in the 21st century, the natural resources of our world, which is in danger of extinction due to rapidly advancing industrialization, and the population that increases exponentially. Environmental problems are no longer the problem of only countries, but the common problem of all humanity living on this old planet, whose number exceeds 6.7. Now, we, who created this common enemy, must find a solution, make concrete proposals and deal with it with all our means. We must find permanent solutions to environmental problems that can be described as the most brutal disease in human history and our old planet. In the period we live in, the natural factors that make up our world are disappearing day by day, the habitats of living species are restricted, and the restorations in the cities cause the destruction of our natural resources. Food, beverages, products we consume carelessly, polluted air, toxic wastes we mix into nature, resources we consume without thinking about the future lead us to an irreversible end. The fact that this end will come in the long run makes it difficult for us to understand the gravity of the situation. However, if we do not take precautions, our children and grandchildren will face this inevitable end. Moreover, the countdown for natural disasters represents a very short time for life on earth. We carried out our project with six countries to contribute to the prevention of all these disaster scenarios, to increase our awareness of the environment, and to explain that nature-friendly smart cities are not a dream. Our goals in order to increase the awareness of these structures and to improve the awareness of saving and recycling are as follows: Environmental problems caused by human hands were explained to the youth. Voluntary work for the protection of nature has been expanded. Contributed to the development of awareness about the design and construction of environmentally friendly structures that do not harm the environment and do not restrict the living space of living things. Contributed to the protection of natural resources by creating awareness about wasted energy consumption. Efforts to prevent environmental pollution have been expanded. Efforts were made to increase the awareness of recycling and to integrate the mechanisms and daily habits into society that ensure the reuse of wastes without harming the nature. It was tried to be a pioneer in intercultural fusion and learning. Negative attitudes such as discrimination, racism, prejudice and xenophobia were combated. The dissemination of Erasmus Plus among young people was ensured. The individual skills of the youth were developed. The concept of world citizenship was emphasized. Awareness of volunteer activities was increased. Awareness of young people about global issues has been increased. Improved international cooperation and communication. The awareness of our organization has been increased. Contributed to the development of the institutional capacities of our partners. Cultural development of young people was supported. The participants' communication skills in a foreign language were improved. By increasing the creativity of the participants, they were enabled to discover their talents. These targets were achieved by starting the dissemination work before the project and continuing these dissemination efforts until the project is completed. During the project implementation phase, our participants presented their pre-project preparations, both reinforcing their environmental awareness and raising awareness of the target audience on this issue. Our dissemination efforts were also effective in this regard. On the other hand, our participants made new friendships, got to know different cultures, and understood the importance of respect and tolerance. Our cultural activities were instrumental in achieving these results.
