The objective of the "Green Skills for Youth!" project was to equip young people with skills and knowledge that would help improve their mental and physical health, as well as to encourage them to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. One of the main goals of the project was to ensure that participants understood the importance of nature and environmental protection, and that they would incorporate sustainable practices into their daily lives. During the project, we placed great emphasis on ensuring that the youth developed a direct connection with nature and experienced its beneficial effects, particularly in reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being. Additionally, we aimed for participants to share the knowledge and experiences gained during the project with their own communities, thereby contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. The long-term goal of the project was for the youth to continue playing an active role in environmental protection and the promotion of sustainability, and to apply and disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills throughout their lives. The project also aimed to foster a close relationship between young people and nature, demonstrating how proximity to nature can improve their quality of life. Through various activities such as hiking, environmental protection programs, litter collection, and practical tasks, we encouraged them to develop and apply environmentally friendly practices in their daily lives. The youth learned how to reduce their ecological footprint and become responsible consumers who pay attention to waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency. Another objective of the project was to strengthen the sense of community and social responsibility among the youth. During the project, they had the opportunity to actively participate in collaborations with local communities through waste collection campaigns and joint environmental protection programs. These activities provided the young people with the opportunity to directly contribute to the protection of their environment and to recognize that every individual action counts towards making greater changes.
