The project originally came from the group of young people, for whom the need arose that many of them are not in contact with water sports, they only saw them on television and experienced them as an interesting way to learn how to navigate on the water. Due to their disadvantaged situation, there were few opportunities for recreation, especially in the field of sports, so the aim of the water project was to introduce water sports to the needs of young people and encourage recreation. The second pillar of the project is a healthy lifestyle, which is an increasingly important topic these days. Active young people wanted more knowledge in the field of a healthy lifestyle, and during the project they tried activities that proved that it is possible to live more consciously with little financial expenditure. The project is not only based on the idea of young people, but also on cooperation between partners. In the early stages of good relations, close consultations took place, partner organizations were also involved in consultations with young people. The activity was not only intended for young people, but was carried out together with them, and the goals set by them were also achieved. The purpose of the exchange was to make the young people more aware of their abilities, to develop skills that will help them to prosper in the future, and possibly to find a new hobby or life purpose. Through this, they wanted to introduce young people to a health-conscious lifestyle, thereby creating an opportunity for them to gain new knowledge and establish relationships, which would lead to the fullness and happiness of their lives. The aim of the project was to increase the self-confidence, competence, health-conscious experiences and world views of young people. This benefited not only the young people, but also the local community and their age group. The project created an opportunity for high school youth to get to know the world of water sports personally through various workshops, bringing the youth closer together between sports, recreation and a health-conscious lifestyle. As a result of the project, young people have a higher level of demand for knowledge, attention, awareness, a healthy lifestyle and water sports. The participants learned how to represent their own interests and those of others, and how to use the knowledge they have acquired for the benefit of the community. In the course of the project, progress was made in terms of communication and cognition, which pointed towards future goals. Their goal was to make the young people feel at home during sports, where no one is forced to do any activity, and through conversations they can only express their thoughts, emphasize their advantages, and learn when it is worthwhile to speak in a given situation and when not. By visiting and getting to know the sports association, the participating young people got closer to recreation, they can get to know the meaning and content of the word, thus further enriching their experiences. The project is directly for the acquisition of knowledge through informal, practical methods. Through this, a close connection can be made with the topics of the Erasmus + program. The participants not only gained knowledge on a theoretical level, but also got to try different sports in practice, which otherwise would never have happened. As a result, they became bolder and more confident. They developed a more active lifestyle, paid more attention to their environment, and were able to spread knowledge about a health-conscious lifestyle, thereby supporting the learning process in their environment. Trying new sports during the course, they pushed the limits of their own knowledge and courage, thereby becoming more confident in this area as well. The exchange emphasized the active participation and involvement of young people, which was achieved with different methods of non-formal pedagogy. A balance was created between the participants, taking into account both disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged young people. Their goal was for the group members to get to know each other and to learn how to get to know other cultures, to appreciate their essence and beauty, as well as to increase their self-confidence in the field of public life, civic advocacy and sports activities, so that they can confidently enter the world of work. The development of the personality and competences of young people is also among their goals. Exchange participants had the opportunity to learn about themselves, the world around them, recreation and education through sports. After getting to know each other, they realized their strengths - both in themselves and in their environment - and learn how to use them to their advantage according to their resources.
