Objectives

The project was implemented in order to serve the widespread creativity and visual solutions in youth work. The partnership has recognised the strength of visual tools, visual facilitation and recording in education, message-relay and community-building. The barrier constituted by diverse languages, accents and dialects can be overstepped by the powerful means of visuals, including drawings, icons, colours and forms. Butterway training course aimed to introduce innovative approaches to education by leveraging visual thinking techniques. Visual thinking is an alternative learning method that aids in organizing thoughts and enhancing individuals' ability to think and communicate effectively. By using meaningful images to pair with concepts, this method facilitates the retention of information in long-term memory, especially in young learners. The primary goal of this training course was to equip youth workers and educators with the skills to effectively utilize visual tools in their daily educational practices. From sketchnoting tools, through flipchart templates, graphic recording and visual presentation techniques, participants have been learning and implementing diverse visual tools and methods, and developed their own visual projects. The objectives of the project remained the same as set in the project application, namely: Objective1: Integrate the set of visual knowledge and competencies to train trainers, educators and teachers working with youth Objective2:Encourage them in using these visual skills set to work with youngsters locally and to boost their learning skills Objective3:Use visual activities to boost educators to form a more collaborative, consciously visible group, that support each-other and able to help youg people correspond to today’s market needs (particular focus on UI) Objective4:Teach, put in practice, monitor, assess and evaluate the TC to provide empirical evidence and valid indicators of the efficacy of this formula and its need to be further developed and invested upon. In summary, the project's overarching goal was to equip educators and youth workers with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use visual thinking in education, thereby enhancing learning outcomes, promoting collaboration among educators, and preparing young people to meet the demands of the modern job market, particularly in the field of user interface design.
