Within the KA171 project, Semmelweis University submitted applications to several countries (Chile, Japan, China, Nigeria, United States), and the objectives were defined accordingly. In each case, the aim was to create long-term international cooperation, increase joint scientific output, lay the foundation for lasting educational and research collaboration, and broaden international relations. In countries where partnerships had long existed, the focus was on maintaining and strengthening these ties. Special attention is given to providing university citizens with opportunities to gain insight into the health care systems and higher education of other countries and cultures. By actively promoting the program’s opportunities, international project activity can be further increased, fostering high-quality research programs that are internationally competitive and successful in global rankings. The results enhance the visibility and reputation of participating universities and institutions, and contribute to continuous improvement in international higher education rankings.
