The project was the first KA171 project of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE), which was created with the aim of establishing student and teacher exchanges between MKE and the University of Montenegro Faculty of Arts in Cetinje (UM) as institutional practice. Teachers from the two institutions had already collaborated on various art projects, and the aim of the mobility program was to elevate this personal connection to the institutional level. The MKE and the UM Faculty of Arts offer similar courses, so in addition to gaining a deeper understanding of the partner institution's training programs during the mobility programs, they also set the development of joint student and teacher art projects as a goal of the project. Within the general expansion of mobility opportunities, the UM's goal was also to ensure that young researchers had opportunities to gain experience. As a general objective, both parties also set the goal of learning about the partner institution's teaching materials, teaching methodology, and best practices in university education organization, which will help the partners develop in many areas of university operations.
