Objectives

Before the start of the application cycle, the campus development and model change process at MOME was completed, resulting in the creation of Hungary's largest creative industry investment, a regional higher education, research, and innovation base. In connection with this, a new internationalization strategy was also developed. English-language training, blended courses, and international consortia, as well as the creation of tender collaborations, came to the fore, for which we wanted to expand the already well-functioning European network. Israel was our key partner in this, as it is one of the world's leading start-up powers in terms of building and successfully operating a world-class creative industry knowledge triangle and ecosystem. Furthermore, the collaborations established during our previous successful Erasmus international credit mobility projects proved to be beneficial for all parties. We were able to add Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art to the three partners we had applied for: Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Holon Institute of Technology, and Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College (formerly HAC). Despite the difficulties caused by the war, we managed to organize a summer university as well.
