Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen BGE’s internationalisation strategy by broadening lecturers’ international experience and enhancing the university’s global embeddedness. In Latin America, building on the successful partnerships with UPB and CES, the main objectives were to deepen educational and research cooperation, prepare double degree programmes and launch joint research projects. In Malaysia, cooperation with USM – ranked 146th in the QS World Rankings – focused on strengthening ties, internationalising business and tourism programmes, and laying the foundations for long-term collaboration. In Thailand, the continuation of the long-standing partnership with the Rajabhat University Consortium targeted the expansion of joint programmes in tourism and hospitality, with special emphasis on supporting student internships. In South Korea, cooperation with the Woosong SolBridge Business School aimed at strengthening the partnership and preparing a double degree programme, also contributing to increasing recruitment potential in Asia. Overall, the project supported the expansion of BGE’s international network, the growth of incoming and outgoing mobilities, and the objectives of “internationalisation at home.”
