-Background: Core Youth Service is an independent Community-based Youth Service set up in 1986. We provide non formal education, individual and group work support in a range of methodologies such as 1-1 support, group work, the arts, outdoor activities, walking, cycling, upskilling, Employability, soft skills development, developmental group work and food bank support. We work with the community and young people of Inchicore and the surrounding area; our mission is to support and assist young people to realise and reach their full potential. -Our Objectives for this project were as follows: • To Develop Young Peoples Life skills e.g Planning, problem solving, Budgeting, Critical and social thinking. • To increase young people’s knowledge and awareness around other Cultures. • To develop or increase young people’s confidence. • To Increase or develop young people’s sense of self. • To Challenge stereotypical views and mindsets that have been historically part of their background/upbringing.
