At the heart of "Women Connecting Europe" is the vision of a more inclusive and diverse IT landscape. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by migrant women, we have designed a comprehensive program that not only imparts practical skills in WordPress—a cornerstone of the digital realm—but also cultivates essential soft skills. By doing so, we aim to bridge the gender gap in technology and empower migrant women to enter and thrive in the IT world.
The project provided life-long learning to migrant women between the ages of 18 and 40, and by doing so, it promoted the socio-economic inclusion of migrant women into their local as well as global communities.
