The Erasmus+ project aimed to enhance international collaboration and foster global competencies among students and staff through partnership and mobility opportunities. It sought to improve participants' intercultural awareness, language skills, and adaptability, while strengthening institutional partnerships and best practice exchanges across European higher education institutions. A key goal was to improve employability by offering practical international experience, equipping students with the skills needed for today’s labour market. Additionally, the project promoted social inclusion by providing opportunities to participants from diverse backgrounds, contributing to the European Education Area and fostering greater unity and cooperation across the continent. At a high level, we believe this project allowed us to further develop the concept of Europeanisation across the region we serve in the north west region of Ireland, giving all of our stakeholders a greater sense of belonging within the European Union.
