(1) To create international opportunities for students and staff in UCD and partner organisations (2) to contribute to the internationaliation of UCD in line with its five-year strategy through the contribution of visiting staff and students from partner organisations (3) To support capacity building in specific areas as identified by partners for example humanitarian education, GIS technology for climate change applications and development studies through mutually beneficial partnerships (4) To strengthen and consolidate existing collaborations with Addis Ababa University (AAU), Vietnam National University (VNU), University of Hanoi (HanU), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and Hokkaido University (HU) (5) To expand UCD's global impact through establishing new partnerships with the University of Ghana (UG), Université de Tunis (UT), and the University of Connecticut (UConn). (6) To act as a trusted partner, developing respectful and mutually beneficial collaborations with our international partners (7) To leverage UCD's areas of expertise to deliver positive societal impact internationally.
